Russian Saritch (Translation for Saritch is Buzzard. This is a bullpup chambered in 7.62x51/.308 which is interesting since Russia doesn’t normally use this NATO caliber ammunition. I wouldn’t be surprised if they change that sometime down the line if this ever gets produced. Supposedly it has undergone testing but I haven’t seen anything else on it. The introduction and possible adoption of the AK-12 most likely means the Saritch isn’t the next gen Russian rifle.)

Russian sniper in the snow… (SVD rifle because of the tell-tale front sight and flash hider.)

Heavily customized AK-47… (Normally I’m a purist when it comes to Russian weapons but this one isn’t too bad. The owner did improve the sight radius by having a further back rear sight.)

Russian SVT-40 (A push by the Soviets to “modernize” their military by replacing bolt-action rifles, the SVT-40 was doomed from the start. With most of the Soviet Union’s troops being illiterate peasants; it was too complicated in comparison to the Mosin Nagant. German and Finnish troops however admired the weapon and used it against the Soviets with deadly results. A fully-automatic version was called the AVT-40)
